V3 Released! (small update)


A small update mostly consisting of balance tweaks and some UI tweaks for higher scores. 

Enemy balance 
  • It felt like some enemies took too long to shoot down, so some HP was reduced and levels were slightly redesigned with this in mind. 
  • The "big mouth" Abaddon enemies that appear in Wave 6 were egregious examples. Not only was their HP too high, but their bullet patterns were far too randomized. They've been toned down to give players a more fair shot at beating the levels.

Overall, I am super happy with how this turned out. Aside from some minor visual flourishes, like a more refined UI and maybe a screen transition to the final boss (a "WARNING WARNING WARNING" would be cool), there is very little I feel like needs to be changed. Those may be implemented in the future, but I see myself moving onto other projects very soon.
